![]() Craig Fitzpatrick has been described as the bastard love child between Henry Rollins and Robin Williams. Craig considers this the kindest compliment of his entire life (the second best compliment was when a gang of Drag Queens whistled and cat called him “Leg Boy.”) Craig has been doing some fun shows here in Portland, including the role of Ming The Merciless in FLASH AH-AHHH! with Stageworks Inc. Other shows have included Looking for Olivia with Twilight Theater Company and several musical cabarets with Torchsong Entertainment. He also enjoys getting super nervous before doing a MOTH Story SLAM. Before he came to Portland in 2015, he was doing plays, stand up, and story telling in New York City. Favorite roles have included Richard the Lion Hearted in Lion in Winter, Ali, PJ, and King Carlisle in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, and Matthew in Private Eyes. He can been seen throughout the city riding on his adult kick scooter, looking like a nine-year-old boy with a serious thyroid problem. He is also a personal trainer and a Chiropractic Assistant, but don’t judge him too harshly for that. Now it's time to meet the guy behind the VIDEO MAN and the STRIPPER - both, you will never, ever forget: 1. Which of your two characters did you enjoy most? Well, who the hell are you to ask me such a question? Lawrence Fishburne from THE MATRIX? Why ya gotta make me pick one? Alright, alright, I'll tell ya. Probably the Stripper, only because it would make my Grandma Fitzpatrick proud. 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? What is this? TRAINSPOTTING with Ewen McGregor? Why ya gotta make me choose? I would say Episode 8. Out of all the shoots I've ever been on, that was the most fun. If we captured even a 1/4 of the fun we had at that shoot, it's gonna be the bee's knees. It's got everything from big laughs to some nice, delicate moments. It's cool to see where the characters have ended up, and I like the hints of where this roller coaster is about to go. 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? Who are you? Robert Redford from INDECENT PROPOSAL?! Why ya gotta make me-ok, never mind. If we're talking about movies filmed in the 90's, I would say SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION. If we are talking about movies both filmed and set in the 90's...PULP FICTION. 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? GAH! You're killin' me, Smalls. JUST ONE ALBUM?! I would say THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL by Nine Inch Nails. 5. What was it like being painted gold? What ever do you mean? That's...that's my natural skin color. I mean, OK, the glitter was added...but the gold...that's (ahem) all me... It was actually pretty awesome! The amazing Heidi Davis and I were cracking up during the application. It was all sparkles and giggles...until I tried to eat. Holy crap on a crap cracker. I love me some Cheetos, but Not GOLD DUST SPARKLEY FLAVORED CHEETOS. And yet it didn't want to come off anywhere else...It was fun trying to explain to my boss on Monday the sparkles I could still not loofah off. "Oh, see, I'm playing a stripper who was covered in gold and glitter last night..." 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? LOBSTER! I LOVE to eat -wait, what? Oregon- oh god. I thought this was Maine... 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? CULTURED CAVEMAN! In Downtown Kenton! 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? Mark Rylance. Anytime you get to see this man act, I think you become a better actor. I can only imagine what working with him would be like. 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? Murder. Definitely murder. If the cops ever come to my crawl space, let's just say you won't be seeing me for a few lifetimes - Wait - What's that? Murder is not one of the 7 Deadly sins?! VINDICATION! Thank you, God! I guess then I would say it's a tie between lust and sloth. My wife says I've managed to combine the 2... 10. Why should people watch Adventures in #Adulting? Did you not read the above part about me being painted in gold?! Wake up people! Seriously though, the characters in ADVENTURES IN #ADULTING will make you laugh out loud one moment, cringe at the next. However, the coolest thing is that no mater how crazy the situation is, you can relate to them. That is rare. And wonderful. Photo credit: Garry Bastian Photography ![]() Aimée Binford is the perfect actress to play the role of Jess in Adventures in #Adulting. Jess is the favorite cocktail server at the main bar in the series - Feral Public House in Vancouver, WA. Aimée is not new to the industry, by any means, and her love interest in #Adulting (Josh Bennett played by Matt Lowe) interestingly plays her son in the upcoming flick Slapped! The Movie. What a twist! Now it's time for you to meet one of the nicest people on our set: 1. In what ways are you and the character Jess similar? Jess and I both really enjoy making sure everyone is having a good time and not feeling left out. She doesn't really get into other people's drama much because she knows things change day-to-day and moment-to-moment so why not be cheery and help someone have a great day? 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? I'm not entirely sure, but I am sure they will laugh at each episode. Tristan David Luciotti, the writer of the series, put together some hilarious people! The improv on set had me cracking up most of the time. 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? Magnolia...I think that was in the 90s? 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? TLC...Ooooh on the TLC tip 5. Are Jess and Josh committed? What kind of relationship do they have? It's a fun and flirty work in progress. They are both a little unsure, but are really enjoying things as they go without any pressure. 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? I was 19 and had just moved back from a brief time in NYC, from Corvallis, Oregon. What a trip. So many stories, but the day that I flew back I was in love and knew I could not go back to Corvallis. Old Portland was so very interesting and a bit seedy at times. I was ready to be on my own here and plant my roots. 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? Oh man, way too many places. I love food. We'd have to ask me about each and every area of Portland. Fooooood, mmmm....... 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? If you now me at all, you already know the answer without any thought....BILL. Bill f***ing Murray. <3 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? Hmmm, after reading the true definition of each, none of them fit me at all. I was thinking maybe sloth, but I am a REALLY hard worker. To the point of exhaustion most times, so when I finally relax, I REALLY relax. 10. Why should people watch Adventures in #Adulting? Because you'll be highly entertained and you don't even need to be "high" to be entertained. It's good stuff. The writing, the talent, the crew that helps make it happen. It will be like that show you've been watching on Netflix and when you've watched the last episode, you just don't know what to do anymore. You're missing your show! ![]() Heidi Davis is a self proclaimed "ham" with a love of comedy and all things wacky! When she was a child Heidi recalls memorizing all of Jim Carey's lines from "The Mask" and "Ace Venture" and Robin Williams' bits from "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Aladdin" and annoying her friends and family with them constantly. That was the start of her passion for creating crazy characters, doing celebrity impersonations, and making people laugh. She has performed in over 40 plays, musicals, and operas, and she continues to work professionally as a singer and actress. In Portland she gets to scratch her character "itch" with Red Shoe Productions where she performs as her comedy idol, Lucille Ball, as well as Elsa from "Frozen," and all her favorite Disney Villains. Heidi also produces and performs in musical cabarets and original jukebox musicals as the artistic director of Torchsong Entertainment LLC. For videos and recordings of Heidi visit: www.HeidiDavisSoprano.com. In Adventures in #Adulting, Heidi tackles not one, not two, but THREE small (but memorable) characters! 1. Out of the 3 characters you play, which one are you most similar to and which one was the most fun to play? I am most similar to the Singing Telegram because I'm a showboating singing ham, but it was the most fun to play Michele/Jay who I am the LEAST like. Portraying such an iconic character was challenging, but so rewarding. It really stretched me as an actor. Snootchie Bootchies! 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? The Halloween episode for sure. Halloween party episodes are always MY favorite when I watch a TV series. 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? HOCUS POCUS. Duh. I'm pretty sure it's my favorite movie, PERIOD. And I know ALL the dialogue by heart. 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? Weird Al Yankovic - Bad Hair Day. He is one of my idols! 5. Who has been your favorite cast member to work with on Adventures and #Adulting? Randy Kovach of course!!! I know everyone will say Craig (because who does't love a glittery gold stripper) but I stand by my awesome Silent Bob! 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? It seemed like the cool thing to do. 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? Nicolas's ...or Sizzle Pie... or City State for BRUNCH. I LOVE BRUNCH. 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? Like a famous one? Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. We would make some amazing comedy together. And Johnny Depp. I'd love to create some wild characters with him. 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? Gluttony. Which is why I hire tiny gnomes to stand outside my fridge and prod me with spears every time I reach for a cookie. That's the only way I stay in shape. 10. Why should people watch Adventures in #Adulting? Because it's packed full of amazing 90's nostalgia! Also I feel that the main characters are really well developed, charming, and likable. I think viewers will really connect with them. There's also a lot of fun absurdity and silliness in the comedy that hearkens to Parks and Rec or 30 Rock that people will really love. Some of the side characters (wink wink) are also extremely colorful and hilarious! ![]() Laine Wagner is new to the Portland, Oregon area but not new to acting! In 2011 Laine Graduated with a BFA in Acting/Design & Tech from the University of Rhode Island. Some of her favorite college credits include Myrrha in Metamorphoses and Izzy in Seminar. After Graduating Laine immediately went on the road with the Missoula Children's Theatre, where she used her performance skills to help teach up to 64 kids an hour long musical in a week. Over the course of a year she visited 45 states and spent six glorious months in beautiful British Columbia. While touring, she also met her wonderful significant other who lured her to Portland, Oregon by promising her that, "The Dream of the 90s was alive in Portland." She is excited to be working with such a wonderful cast on Adventures in #Adulting! Now it's time for you to learn more about this talented actress: 1. In what ways are you and the character Gina similar? Well, on a very basic level we are both aspiring actresses, which is cool. But more importantly, I think we both are in a place of self-discovery and self-empowerment. 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? I think the second episode is too much fun! I loved the 90s and I can’t wait to have a nostalgia high when it airs! 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? Is Legally Blonde from the 90s? If so, Legally Blonde. Legally Blonde was 2001, so pick another film. Nooooooooo! But, okay. Wait...JURASSIC PARK! I can quote every line. That's my choice! 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? ANYTHING BY GREEN DAY. 5. Do you think Gina will ever end up with Corey again? I think they will end up back together briefly. 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? Acting work, beautiful scenery, and my wonderful significant other! I am originally from Rhode Island, which is beautiful in its own right, but the acting scene there pays little to nothing. I knew if I wanted to take my career seriously I had to move to a city that had tons of film work and paying theatre. Surprisingly, Portland fit the bill! 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? This changes weekly…but, right now…probably Swiss Hibiscus on Alberta Street. Although, my guilty pleasure is Salt & Straw. 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? Natalie Portman is a Goddess and I aspire to be able to act the way she can someday. I LOVE HER. 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? I would easily say envy. I have a really bad problem of comparing myself to others instead of appreciating and realizing what I have. 10. Why should people watch Adventures in #Adulting? You should watch Adventures in #Adulting if you love the 90s and are in the need of a nostalgia high OR if you want to feel a real connection to others struggling with the realities of becoming an adult, but don’t let the struggle stop you/them from having a great time! Photo credit Garry Bastian Photography ![]() Born in Pittsburg, California, Matt Lowe came into this world via C-Section. Matt moved around a lot in his life but mostly from California to Washington State where he now calls home. Dealing with weight issues since high school, Matt became morbidly obese around the age of 23 through 26 where he weighed 619 pounds. He appeared on Season 1 of the MTV show 'Catfish' which launched him into stardom. Matt has since lost over 200 pounds and resides in Vancouver, Wa where he is pursuing his dreams of acting, script writing, stand-up comedy, music and pretty much anything that has to do with the entertainment business. He also spends his time on his social media connecting with fans across the world talking back and forth and giving support to anyone that he can during his busy schedule on subjects of weight, depression or any other mental issues. Matt is about to wrap the film Slapped! The Movie, a hilarious comedy he co-wrote and is a lead actor in! Now it's time to get to know the actor who makes Josh Bennett come to life...in a hilarious way! 1. In what ways are you and the character Josh similar? Josh and I a very similar in the sense that we're both immature and we don't take life too insanely serious while simultaneously being a supportive friend who is always going to have your back in times of need but to also lift your chin up when you're feeling down and out. Plus, we're both very similar in the way we talk and how bad ass we are in general. 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? I feel like the last episode will appeal the most because of how much fun it is. I honestly feel like all the episodes were really fun but the last one will be what impacts them the most when it ties all the things from previous episodes together in a finale and it's the climax of this whole season. On top of that the huge party scene is epic and not only was it amazing to film but I know it will stand out for sure just from what little I saw from my point of view. 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? My favorite 90's movie would be the Matrix although that's an odd one probably and it's late 90's but it came out in 1999 and it's my favorite movie of all time. Maybe The Lion king is pretty close to tied with the Matrix due to how close to my heart that movie is but Matrix is my adult answer and Lion King is my child heart answer ha. 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? I definitely find it hard to pick but I would have to say it's a definite tie with Nirvana's "Nevermind" and Bush's "Razorblade Suitcase". Both of these albums are very close to my heart and my friends and I would jam out to these bad boys on a daily basis! 5. Are Matt and Jess dating? Or is it just a hook-up? I would say that Jess and Josh are dating but they're both free spirits. I say Jess is a free spirit because you would have to be in order to hang with Josh. I believe even if Josh felt serious feelings for Jess it would be too difficult for him to express himself in that sense from his immaturity level but I like to think in the privacy of their homes they act loving and have a more meaningful relationship. 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? The Portland area has been my home tied with the California Bay Area as well. I always seem to go back and forth considering I was raised equally between both places but something always brings me back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I believe it's the green environment and the amazing friends and family. 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? I would have to say Voodoo Doughnuts and any Filipino restaurant. 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? I would LOVE to work with Denzel Washington. He's definitely my favorite actor and I love every single project he's a part of. Besides his obviously out of this world acting skills he is an amazing person in general from the things I've read and seen online. I would love to meet him and get to know him but also get some tips on acting because I'm sure he could be an amazing mentor for it. 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? Haha, I feel forced to say Gluttony considering how fat Josh and myself are hahahaha 10. Why should people watch Adventures in #Adulting? People NEED to watch Adventures in #Adulting because although it's a hilarious show it really has a serious underlying story plot that touches you in your heart... way deep down. Everyone goes through major changes and huge obstacles in life and I believe this show represents a struggle we all can relate to but brings it to you in a very entertaining and thoughtful way. Not to mention all the amazing cast and crew who came together to make something this great. Photo credit Garry Bastian ![]() Tristan David Luciotti is a native of Atlanta, GA and an actor, director, producer and writer currently residing in the Pacific Northwest. Tristan has enjoyed compelling roles in feature films and shorts, including: The Fear of the Bottom, Runaway Highway, Slapped! The Movie, SHOJOE, In the Dark of Night, Kung Fu Sleepwalker, The Alchemist Coterie and The Viewer. He also has appeared in several commercials, industrials, voice overs and was featured in a couple of TV shows. You might even recognize him from one of his commercial spots as the weather and traffic app guy on KGW 8 Portland. Tristan's first big step into the Portland spotlight came the summer of 2015 when he took Twilight Theater Company's stage by storm as the lead, Henry Thompson, in Looking for Olivia by local playwright Steve Coker. He then appeared in several stage musical cabarets and was the Assistant Director of The Heidi Chronicles. To top it all off, Tristan is also a filmmaker and currently in production with his full feature documentary, All Around Us and his recently finished short film Stella & Rocky was already a finalist at the Hollywood Screening Film Festival. He is also the Founder/Creative Director of Vision8Studio. Tristan is very excited to be the director, writer, executive producer and lead actor, Corey Caruso, in the 2017 episodic web series Adventures in #Adulting. "It's amazing seeing your dreams become a reality." 1. In what ways are you and the character Corey similar? Corey reminds me a lot of myself, but my younger self. Thankfully, I've matured a bit more than the level Corey is at in Season One. We both share a sense of humor and quick-wit, but Corey sometimes doesn't know when to stop. Inside, Corey has a big heart and I definitely do too. We both care about our family/friends even if they annoy us at times. We also share a love of the 90s and music. Corey represents how I think many people secretly wish they could be at times. I mean, who really wants to do house chores and go to a 9-5 job? Corey is trapped in the tug-of-war battle of not wanting to grow up and being an official adult. I totally get it because there are many days I'd like to zap myself back to a time when your only worry was not passing a chemistry test or who to ask to prom. 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? I feel like there are key episodes that will resonate with people. Every time we film, I think, THIS is the episode people will flip out over! Now, looking back (since we're in the home stretch of filming), I'd have to say Episode 8 "Scream" without a doubt. There are some characters in that episode that will steal the show and scenes that I will be shocked if they don't go viral. 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? That is such a difficult question to answer! I'm a huge film buff, but when I think of the 90s, there are 4 films that really hooked me in: Empire Records, Reality Bites, The Matrix and The Game. They are the ones that I loved when I saw them and still love to this day. Though, I admit, I think Clueless was pretty epic. My secret is now out. Oh, oh! And one day I want to do the "Time After Time" dance from Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. I also loved The Birdcage. That was really good too. R.I.P. Robin Williams. See?...I could go on and on and on. 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? I'd have to say it's a tie between Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette and August and Everything After by Counting Crows. They are the perfect albums and I played them nonstop in High School. Even now, I can listen to the full album, close my eyes, and drift away. 5. Does the love triangle with Corey make a come back in Season Two? I'm not giving any teasers away, but I'll just say that Corey is truly invested in his relationship with Annie and doesn't want to mimic his previous mistakes. Season Two will have a love triangle or two, but it may not include Corey, or it may. You'll have to find out! :) 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? I moved to Portland in December of 2013 from Atlanta, GA. I was ready for a change and the next chapter of my life. I also moved here to be closer to the girl I dreamed of being with since around 2002. Now, we're engaged! I think our full story would actually be an incredible feature film. Though, I'm possibly biased, and have enough on my plate these days. 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? I'm a total foodie and I'd have to say that my favorite places to eat are Swagat (Indian), Shandong (Chinese) and Nicolas (Lebanese). The brunch at Salty's is also a dream come true. 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? Tom Hanks, hands down. I'd just love to shake his hand one day and thank him for being such an inspiration to me as an actor. Prior to Tom Hanks, it was the late Robin Williams. Let's just say that his death made me invest in Kleenex. 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? Like I said, I'm a total foodie, so I'd have to say gluttony. I grew up in an Italian/French family so everything in life was celebrated or solved with delicious food. A close second, if I'm honest, would be greed, but not in a "Scrooge" way because I sincerely love giving to people - in all aspects - from material gifts to warm embraces of compassion. This type of greed is more in the enjoyment of wealth and success. I think BIG. 10. Which actor/actress would you love to cast in Adventures in #Adulting? First off, I've had the cast and crew of what dreams are made of! It's been an incredible ride. For Season Two...I do have my eyes set on a few celebs from the 90s that I'd like to pull in for some cameos and guest starring roles. My intuition tells me that once they see what we've created, they just may be interested to join in with the fun. Okay, fine. I'll name some names: Rachael Leigh Cook, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob), Joey Lauren Adams, Steve Buscemi and Ethan Embry...these are only a few that come immediately to mind. As for the series, while it's been a lot of very, very hard work...it's been the most fun I've ever had on any set before. I can't wait to share this with the world! Photo credit Garry Bastian Photography ![]() Melanie Meijer is an native-Portland actress, known for Wishbone (2016) and The Wing Man (2012). Melanie joins the lead cast of Adventures in #Adulting in Season 1, Episode 7 and will be a prominent role in Season 2, as the continued love interest of Corey Caruso. Melanie had her onstage debut at age 6 in Tiki Tiki Tembo. She went on to become a member of the touring children's theater company, the Portland Theater Brigade. It was there that she fell in love with the life of an actor. That love took her all the way to New York City where she attended the Atlantic Acting School. Some of her favorite roles include Helen Jones/young woman in Machinal, Estelle in No Exit, and of course Pansy, the fortune telling, heroine addicted, New Zealander in love with her brother in the play Goa. Melanie is happy to be back in the City of Roses close to her beautiful family and Portland's ridiculous restaurants. Yum. 1. In what ways are you and the character Annie similar? I'm still getting to know Annie. Though what I've learned about her so far, I dig. She has a killer combo of being a genuine person and also having a strong sense of herself and primo confidence. I like to believe that I have those qualities, but I haven't quite mastered them yet like Annie. We also both need any potential significant other to have top notch taste in music. Very important. 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? The Halloween episode was bananas. Who doesn't love bananas? 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? Can't pick only one, of course. Love Fargo, The Professional, and American Beauty. 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? If you asked me then, I'd say Spice by Spice Girls, ask me now and I'd have to say either Moon Safari by Air or 69 Love Songs by the Magnetic Fields. 5. Do you think Annie and Corey will stay together? Annie and Corey are in their blissed-out honeymoon stage right now, so hard to tell at this point if the magic will last. There's definitely potential though. If they both tap into their adult selves, I think they could have something really beautiful. 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? Born in Portland! So I guess...my mom? 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? The taco truck on 41st and Division in Portland has the best tacos in town, hands down. 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? Juliette Binoche 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? Gluttony 10. Why should people watch Adventures in #Adulting? Who doesn't want to experience all of the great 90's movies in a new, weird and hilariously Portland way?? Photo credit Garry Bastian Photography ![]() Born in Hempstead NY, Bryan Maurice took to acting at an early age. Telling his grandparents about his aspiring dreams they started him out in musical theater at the age of 10. Landing roles as Daddy Warbucks in Annie and Benny in Rent, Maurice's love for acting grew. Maurice would act sparingly throughout the years sticking with theater well into high school, with plays such as The Wizard of OZ and Fiddler On The Roof. Earning a football scholarship to Hofstra University, Maurice put acting on hold to pursue college. After an injury ended his football career and scholarship, Maurice entered the U.S. NAVY following in the footsteps of his grandparents who are Air Force veterans. Again, with an injury (heart condition) ending his NAVY tenure, Maurice moved to Portland, OR in 2008 to start a new life. Never having lost his love for acting and writing, Maurice started on his first screenplay and in 2012 landed a role as the Stand-In for Aldis Hodge on the final season of TNT's 'Leverage'. Learning from one of the best in the business, Maurice honed his craft and in 2015 reemerged to start the #MauriceMovement and landed roles in the feature film Unshattered and three short films - Work Hard, Y2K2000 and Press Start. In 2016, with the #MauriceMovement taking off in a huge way, Maurice landed several more roles including a leading role in the upcoming films Haze, The Fear of the Bottom (where he met Tristan David Luciotti) and Planetars Masters Of The Elementus. 1. In what ways are you and the character Paul similar? Paul and I are similar in our love for good fashion (I love a nice tie) and passion. I like that he was in a marriage longing for more out of life (better actually). Not to mention, I'm always the responsible friend. 2. Which episode of Adventures in #Adulting do you feel will appeal the most to audiences? Episode 3 because it features me heavily! (kidding). I think that Episodes 6 and 8 will appeal. Episode 6 because it centers around woman/dating/love and Episode 8 because...who doesn't love a good party (equipped with sexy costumes). 3. What is your favorite 90's movie? My favorite 90's movie was and still is Good Burger - "Welcome to Good Burger home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?" It had everything - comedy...good plot...not to mention, the leads were two of the biggest African-American stars at the time...plus, Sinbad with an Afro wig!! 4. Which full album from the 90's would be the first you'd add to a playlist? Ok, so I'm torn. I love 3 genres Hip-hop/Rock/Pop. From the 90's Redman's "What? Thee Album" from 1991 and B.I.G "Life after Death" are still in my playlist..."The Razors Edge" by AC/DC is one of my faves with "Thunderstruck" and Backstreet Boys " Millennium." But to answer the question (sorry) FIRST full album is "Life After Death." 5. What do you think will happen with Paul and Heather in the series? Haha ok so this is a loaded question (I know what happens...at least I think I do). I think that Paul will realize that while he loves Heather, they are just too different. Not only in age, but in what they want. Paul seems to want to be "one of the guys" but can never quite fit in. In order to achieve goals, changes must be made. 6. What brought you to Portland, Oregon? Before I was discharged from the Navy, I served with a few people from here. They talked it up so much so I decided to visit. I came for a weekend and went back home (Baltimore) and did this twice more. I got a job and an apartment lined up and then moved out here and haven't looked back. Been here since 2008 and it's been quite a ride! 7. In Portland, name your favorite place to grab some grub? Ok so I LOVE food!! Any of the food carts are great The Fishbox is a great one on SE Belmont St. They have a great Salmon Taco...spicy and just amazing! However, my favorite place to eat is "Reo's Ribs" near Hollywood transit center. Owned and operated by Snoop Dogg's Uncle Reo, it has some of the best soul food you will ever eat. The $6 catfish burger deal is great. You're making me hungry as we speak... 8. Who is the one actor/actress you'd love to work with? The one actor I want to work with is Kel Mitchell (I know it's a weird pick). Not only was he one half of the best duo on earth (Kenan & Kel), but he is funny humble and a damn good actor. He's so underrated (like me) and has never really gotten a fair shot. He's wild..crazy..and can dance! He's also one of the reasons that I started to preform. I would love to share some screen time with him and watch him do his thing! 9. Which of the 7 deadly sins are you most guilty of? I'll say (as will everyone else) that I'm guilty of Superbia (pride, hubris). I strive to be the best in everything that I do, which can cause me to come off as a bit pious. I just think very highly of myself, I mean, if I don't think I'm great who else is going too? (I'm kidding) I try to stay humble and always give thanks for everything that happens in my life. (I've said thanks for the role in this show correct?)...Good! 10. Why should people watch Adventures in #Adulting? Well, if you love "friends" and "happy endings" you will love this series. Not only do you get an extensive look at Portland, but you get all of your favorite 90's memories. Also there is a VERY diverse cast (minorities & women & LGBTQ), it's a fresh take on all of your favorite moments, songs and quips from the 90's. Not to forget, but it does star yours truly #MauriceMovement (haha), in all honesty, it's a great cast..great script..just a great little show that we have here! Photo credit Garry Bastian Photography ![]() Leslie Inmon was one of the first people Tristan David Luciotti approached when he was preparing his initial story ideas for Adventures in #Adulting. They had previously worked together in theater and Tristan trusted her guidance. In fact, one of his short film ideas ended up being the premise for Episode 6: Single White Female - where Claire has a very interesting encounter with an online dating partner. Leslie has been acting for over 20 years and you may recognize her from one of her many theatrical performances in and around the Portland, OR area. Though she is a lover of all things theater, she is very excited to act on screen in the largest role of her career in that medium. It was not hard for Tristan to cast her as the quick-witted Claire Manning, he explains, "Leslie takes a role, creatively sculpts it into her own, and you end up meeting a character beyond your wildest imagination." Leslie loves becoming different characters - adding a little of herself to every role and has developed a large local fan base over the years. It's time for you to get to know more about this hilarious and talented actress you'll soon fall in love with. 1. In what ways are you and the character Claire similar?
